Biography
Eldon is the past president/CEO of the SOC Credit Union, a position he held for thirty years, until his retirement on January 2, 1998. He has been involved in credit union management for forty-two years. Eldon is the past President of SOC Real Estate Corporation and First of Oakland Corporation, which are wholly owned subsidiaries of the SOC Credit Union.

In 1994, Eldon was recognized by Leadership Troy as an ’Outstanding Volunteer'. Also, in 1994, the Council of Troy Homeowners Association presented Eldon with their ’Above and Beyond' Award. In 1995, he was selected as Troy’s Distinguished Citizen and in 1997 he was elected as a member of Troy City Council.
